February and March have been joyful and engaging months at POPPS! Our students have begun an exciting Clothing Study, exploring everything from sizes, colors, and patterns to different fabrics and how clothing is made. This hands-on unit encourages children to build skills in literacy, math, and the arts while learning about something that is part of their everyday lives. It has been wonderful to watch their curiosity and creativity shine. We look forward to celebrating all they have learned with a special POPPS Student Fashion Show!

We were also blessed to welcome special visitors recently. Kay Lee and Joyce Chen, two of our parents, joined us to celebrate Lunar New Year. The children were helped to create paper fortune tellers and shared traditional rice cakes for everyone to taste. Our guests and Ms. Amanda also brought beautiful hanboks for the children to try on, providing a meaningful connection to our Clothing Study and an opportunity to appreciate another culture’s traditions.

As we look ahead to St. Patrick’s Day, we are reminded how truly fortunate we are to have such supportive and wonderful families as part of our POPPS community and congregation.
Thank you to our guest contributor, Jackie Hynekamp, Pre-K 4 teacher.

Colossians 3:12
